Boran is a highly skilled saiseiya who attended the 50th Cooking Festival and fought against the forces of the Gourmet Corp. when they invaded.
He was a minor ally during the Cooking Festival Arc.
Appearance
Boran is a tall and muscular man with two vertical lines running down across both his eyes which are always covered by his thin glasses. Boran has a long black handlebar mustache, a short black beard and long black hair which he keeps tied in a knotted ponytail. He wears a sleeveless shirt with small patterns and a black bandana on his head.
Personality
Not much is known about Boran's personality but he seems to be a courageous and daring individual dedicated to healing and protecting others and was brave enough to stand up against the Gourmet Corp.
Powers and Abilities
Boran appears to be a highly skilled saiseiya and as such he has a wide variety of medicines and revival equipment which he can use to revive ingredients and heal the wounded. His equipment or full skills as a saiseiya are never seen.
History
Cooking Festival Arc
Boran along with his fellow saiseiyas, Etsuru and Kyurumu, came to see the 50th Cooking Festival either due to admiration for the event or that they were aware of the Gourmet Corp.'s attack. When the Gourmet Corp. finally appeared, the three saiseiyas entered the Cooking Stadium's field to help protect the chefs and aid the fighters.
Anime and Manga Differences
- In the anime, Boran is given a rather different appearance and a completely different color scheme which greatly differs from his manga counterpart.
- The patterns on his shirt are removed in the anime and his shirt is instead a simple green color.
