Ayame is a character introduced in Toriko the Movie: Bishokushin's Special Menu. She is the head chef of one of the IGO's Biotopes.
Appearance
She is a tall and attractive light-skinned woman with brown eyes, long strawberry blonde hair (which she keeps most of in a ponytail), and a slim and shapely figure. Her outfit consists of a long violet-colored dress that reaches down to just above her shins and has long sleeves and frills around her V-shaped neck line which exposes a bit of her cleavage, along with a violet-colored hat and a long pink apron tied around her waist. She also wears pink lipstick and violet-colored boots.
Her artwork depicts what appears actually to be true elder form of herself, that is short in stature, wears a pink turtleneck dress and apron with red shoes and her hair is tied up into a bun.
Personality
Nothing is currently known about her personality.
Powers and Abilities
She appears to ride around on her giant feline animal partner Potchy who acts as a mode of fast transport for her. As an IGO chef, she is very skilled in the culinary arts.
She is a strong combatant, able to hold her own against a GT Robo and send it flying with a kick.
Techniques
- Moxibustion Knocking (お灸ノッキング Okyū Nokkingu): Ayame uses a moxa on the back of her neck to revert her body back to it's strong and youthful state. It wears off after an unknown amount of time.
- Hand-Wind-Flame Knocking (手風炎ノッキング Tefūen Nokkingu): A technique Ayame used on the Wolf Fire Dragon in which she punches it in the forehead in an attempt to paralyse it, however It was ineffective.
History
Golden Wheat Arc
Ayame is briefly seen at the end of this arc. She is seen standing on a stone platform located in an unknown field of flowers, and is shown worrying about a terrible apprehension she is feeling, likely sensing an oncoming disaster due to the Infini Bee's sudden appearance and capture by the Gourmet Corp..

Anime and Manga Differences

While Ayame does not appear in the manga, she was designed along with Girimu by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro himself. In her official manga artwork by Shimabukuro, Ayame has a completely different color scheme, having lighter-colored hair and her outfit is pink instead of violet and her apron is orange instead of pink. Her artwork also shows her as having bigger lips and a slightly longer nose.
Trivia
- Ayame is the japanese name for the Blood Iris flower (Iris Sanguinea). The Blood Iris typically grows in the wild of Japan's drylands.
