Tom and Jerry first premiered in 1940, featuring a cat named Tom chasing a mouse named Jerry through their home, the streets, and around the world! These chases often involved Tom getting into awkward situations and being put in immense pain while Jerry toyed with him and got the last laugh.

As the cartoons progressed throughout the 20th Century and into the 21st Century, the stakes got higher and higher and higher, with involvement of criminals, long voyages to the other side of the world, and even trips to space!

Of course, Tom and Jerry were never alone and a host of other hilarious characters helped or hindered their adventures, including Spike Bulldog, Nibbles Mouse, Butch Cat, and more!

April 5, 2025: The latest Tom and Jerry Play episode, Happy Easter, has been released in honour of Easter! March 22, 2025: The release date for the Tom and Jerry: 85th Anniversary Kids Collection has been pushed back from June, 10th 2025 to May, 13 2025. March 5, 2025: The latest Tom and Jerry Play episode, Sakura, has been released in honour of Springtime and Valentine's Day! Feburary 11, 2025: To celebrate Tom and Jerry's 85th Anniversary, the brand new Tom and Jerry: The Complete CinemaScope Collection has now been released in a single-disc Blu-ray set from Warner Archive Collection, consisting of all 23 of the CinemaScope Tom and Jerry shorts alongside the two Spike and Tyke shorts and the MGM Christmas-themed short, Good Will to Men. Feburary 10, 2025: Tom and Jerry's 85th Anniversary officially commences with merchandise and upcoming events.
