Yujin (Hangul: 유진), also known as Layla is a supporting character in Season 2 and 3 of Tobot series. She's Asher's step-sister.
Personal
Appearance
She wears a yellow headband on her hair. She has brown hair in braids with two red hair ties. She has dark teal eyes. Her skin tone is a little darker than the others. She wears a yellow shirt with pink text and collar, with a teal jacket. She wears jean shorts and baby pink shoes.
Personality
She's a rather shy, nervous and quiet type when we first saw her, not talking a lot and nervous to share eye contact with anyone (excluding Asher), especially with Dylan. Once we see her in more episodes, she talks more and feels comfortable when she befriended them. She has naturalist intelligence (smart in nature), as when she named all the flowers with Dylan. She isn't easily angered like her brother, Asher but falls more into an emotional outburst when in an offensive situation.
Relationship
- Dolly: First when they met, they weren't really close, Dolly envied her because she was near Dylan a lot. Once they got to know each other and the harsh response to Layla when she wanted to report. They bonded a lot and worked together to find out Tom Fuse's secret.
- Dylan: She was rather nervous and timid when first meeting the three Tobot Pilots (Ryan, Kory and Dylan). She couldn't hold eye contact with Dylan. Over time, they became friends and Layla showed him some flowers and told him its names.
- Asher: Asher is Layla's stepbrother. Their relationship isn't as intense as Ryan and Kory's relationship but more on a relaxed level. Layla is more the reversed type, as Asher is more the cocky type (similarity with Ryan and Kory's relationship)
Trivia
- She may be the only one (other than Asher) to be a step-sibling.
- She also may be the only Vietnamese character shown in the series (along with her mother).
- She, unintentionally, is loud. When Layla ordered more Tteokbokki, she screamed near Kory for her mom to make food, to which Kory yelled, "MY EARS!!!", and when she was confronting Tom Fuse, he said, "So loud.. She should be on stage with that voice," while covering his ears.
