History
At some point, Cliff got into an car accident, nearly killing him. After the accident, his brain was transferred into a robotic body by Dr. Niles Caulder.[1]
At a much later date, Victor Stone is also transformed by unknown means into a cyborg and joins Cliff in Caulder house.[2]

- In Titans spin-off Doom Patrol, set in an alternate universe, another cyborg by the name of Victor Stone joins the Doom Patrol and uses the moniker of Cyborg. It is unknown of Victor exists on Earth-9.
