Officer Alvarez is a police officer in the Gotham City Police Department.
Biography
After the Joker escaped Arkham Asylum, Alvarez was one of at least five Gotham City Police Department officers who encountered the psychopath, resulting in Alvarez and two other officers being wounded. The two uninjured officers then called for a medevac as the Joker promptly left the scene.[1]

- In the DC comics, Carlos Alvarez is a detective in the Gotham City Police Department, known for his frequent run-ins with Catwoman. He debuted in Catwoman #4 (February, 2012).
