Batgirl (real name: Barbara Wilson) is the tritagonist in the fourth film of the Burton/Schumacher Batman series, Batman & Robin. She is the niece of Alfred who becomes Batman's second sidekick.
She is portrayed by Alicia Silverstone.

- The Barbara Gordon version of Batgirl first appeared in Detective Comics #359 (1967).
- In the comics, and most other media, her name is Barbara Gordon and is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon.
- In an early concept art, her Batgirl costume was originally going to have a full-head cowl (similar to Batman's).
