Hypercortisone D, more commonly known as Kick, is a drug that was created by Sentinel Services, in order to persuade Hounds, into obeying them, by getting the mutants hopelessly addicted to it. It briefly magnifies the mutants powers and creates a sensation similar to a drug high. It's injected directly into the bloodstream and was first mentioned in Threat of Extinction. The drug has made its way into to the public and is used by mutants who want to experience the high of enhanced abilities like Wire's kick addict brother Graph but this often leads to addiction and sometimes death by overdose.
