Aelic was the glimpse of Aidan Thomas, a twin in the mirror-realm. Aelic was the son of Ravelle and Ariana, the King and Queen of Mithegard. Ariana moved away from Ravelle many years before Aelic was grown, and then moved to Balesparr, where Aelic, "So like his father, wanting adventure", learned to shoot the bow, and use the sword.
