Sydney Johnson is a recurring character on the Netflix series, The Crown. He appears in Season 3 and Season 5.He is portrayed by Connie M'Gadzah in Season 3 and by Joshua Kenana and Jude Akuwudike in Season 5.
He is the Duke of Windsor's valet for nearly 30 years, serving from his time in the Bahamas until shortly after the Duke's death in 1972.
Biography
Sydney served as the valet and footman to Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor, formerly King Edward VIII of the United Kingdom, and his wife, Wallis, Duchess of Windsor, for over thirty years. He later worked for the Egyptian-born businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed.
