The fifth and final season of The Boys was officially announced on May 14, 2024.^[1] It is set to air during 2026.

• Eric Kripke announced on June 11, 2024 that Season 5 will be the final season of the series.^[6]
  • Furthermore, since this is the last season, it's most likely that The Boys' main goal will be finding a way to take down both Homelander and Butcher. Though it's currently unknown if it'll take the same route from the comics.
• According to Eric Kripke, Jared Padalecki will be playing an undisclosed character in the final season.
• Paul Reiser has confirmed that he will be returning to play The Legend.^[7]
