Deeper

Deeper

Deeper is an autobiography of The Deep's and his wife's, Cassandra Schwartz's, "harrowing" escape from the Church of the Collective and their influence.

History

Deeper is presented as an autobiography written by Kevin Moskowitz. However, he had no involvement in writing the book and instead hired Shia LaBeouf's ghostwriter to write it for him. Deeper became a best-selling novel, prompting The Deep and his wife to go on tour, appearing as guests on television and online podcasts in an attempt to use their newfound status as celebrity "whistleblowers" to increase Kevin's chances of rejoining The Seven.

Despite supposedly being based on a true story, the book is completely fake.

Deeper was adapted into a television film for VTV titled Not Without My Dolphin starring The Deep as himself, Caitlin Pasquet as Cassandra and Billy Zane as Alastair Adana.

Plot

Deeper tells the story of The Deep, who is trying to redeem himself and fix his career after getting kicked out of The Seven. To do so, he ends up joining the Church of the Collective, who promises him that they can give him everything he wants and more, however as time goes on, he finds out that everything has a cost. After finding out that the Church is violating his and his wife's, Cassandra's, personal privacy and that they have been lying to him, he comes to the conclusion that the only choice is to run.
