COBRA VIPER troops are the grunts of the COBRA legions. If there's a low-level, down-and-dirty job that needs doing, these are the guys who are sent to do it. They wear multi-layer body armor and wrap-around helmets with built-in radio telecommunications gear, and carry multi-burst laser pistols, commando rifles and gernade launchers. They are assigned to different divisions and locations. Those who display excessive meanness and cold-hearted detachment are given Viper Guard training and assigned to the prison where captured enemies and hostages are kept. Beside guarding the cells, they assist INTERROGATOR in the retrieval of information from prisoners. The more a prisoner resists, the better the COBRA VIPER troops like it, because then Interrogator lets them apply physical punishment when someone refuses to cooperate.
History
Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:

MUX History:
Cobra Viper Guards watch prisoners and provide security to Cobra installations. They report to Interrogator.

Viper Guards are available on the MUX as Disposable Characters, with a much simpler application. They can also be apped directly as full character (format: Viper Guard 1234) or upgraded from DCs to OCs.
For now, Viper Guards report to Interrogator.
