History
Pre-MUX continuity
The Sky Hawk VTOL [Vertical Take-Off and Landing Aircraft] was first utilized by G.I. Joe in 1984. The Dreadnoks stole one in 1986 and modified it for use as the Dreadnok Air Assault.
MUX continuity
G.I. Joe modified the Sky Hawk for use by the Steel Brigade in 2005. The Sky Hawk was replaced by the Ghost HAWK in 2009. The Steel Brigade variant, however, was updated and put back into service in 2014.
Variants
- Dreadnok Air Assault - A stolen Sky Hawk was repainted and retooled by the Dreadnoks for Dreadnok Air Assault in 1986.
- Sky Hawk (1990) - The Sky Hawk was retooled for stealth use by Sky Patrol in 1990.
- Steel Brigade Skyhawk (2005) - G.I. Joe modified the Sky Hawk for use by the Steel Brigade in 2005.
- The Steel Brigade variant was updated and put back into service in 2014.
