The child of a Toxo-Viper and a Sludge-Viper, QUAGMIRE is one of the nastiest creatures ever to be spawned by Cobra. He appears to be slow and backwards, but this midget orphan has learned to use others' misconceptions about him to his advantage. An idiot savant, he is an incredible repair tech -- able to fix anything from a Cobra HISS to a VCR, able to hack into worldwide computer systems without even blinking. His natural mutations have given him a very advanced sense of hearing and smell, though his eyesight sometimes fails him, and his speech impediment sometimes makes him hard to understand. He can be seen wandering around Cobra Island, trying to prove his uses for a scrap of food or a safe place to sleep. Effectively he is the first bum of Cobra Island.
