Machete isn't your typical tattooed, hairy beer guzzling biker. He's a good looking, smooth talking cocky bastard. Machete fashions himself after the greasers of the '50s, idolizing the movie stars who portrayed them. As far as he's concerned, he's got the coolest bike, the slickest hair, and the hottest chicks. He lives for speed, thrill, and rock 'n' roll. He's a rebel without a cause and sees himself as a greaser with a heart of gold. He's not here to fit in - he's here to stand out. He seems himself as someday leader of the pack, and everyone else had better watch out. Machete carries a Machete and a shotgun and drives the Dreadnok Cycle with Buzzer as his gunner.

History

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:

Ricardo "Ricky" Trejo was always fascinated by the 1950s greaser culture. He loved watching old movies with James Dean, Marlon Brando, and Elvis Presley, and he wanted to emulate their style and attitude. He bought a leather jacket, a pair of jeans and a motorcycle, and he joined a local biker gang called the Rebels. He felt a sense of belonging and adventure with his new friends, who shared his passion for the past. He also enjoyed the thrill of breaking the law, getting into fights, and outrunning the cops. He believed he was living the dream of his idols, even though he knew they were just actors playing roles.

MUX History:

In 2005, Machete moved up in the world, leaving the Rebels and joining the Dreadnoks.

On Apr 17, 2023, Machete came into the emergency department with burns on his lower extremities. His shoes are charred, and the bottoms of his pants are burned away but his skin wasn’t so bad. He had been trying to use a propane-powered weed burner and things got a little out of control. The doctor on call, Scalpel, smelled alcohol on his breath, so asked the guy if he had been drinking. Machete looked him directly in the eye and said, “Nooooo”. As straight faced and professionally as possible, Scalpel replied, “Sir… liar, liar, pants on fire”. The Medi-Vipers all turned at once and ran out of the room, they were laughing so hard. Machete just stared at him. He was so drunk it went totally over his head.
