Law (SG)

This page is for the Evil Shattered Glass MP. For his heroic main-universe counterpart, see Law.

"No Cobra is safe when I'm around. I’m judge, jury, and executioner."

LAW is a trained dog-handler, although he hates animals and prefers to train them with a kick and a cattle prod. A martial arts expert, he is also Airborne-qualified. Responsible for security of G.I. Joe installations, Law has acquired a reputation as a stickler for detail and a hot-headed fighter when the chips are down. He's a fast-talking, mule-headed, intense hoot owl with an attitude, but he gets the job done. He's the kind of soldier who isn't easily impressed -- he's walked the beat in Houston's Fifth Ward, fought off entire armies of invading forces, and apprehended some of the most dangerous masterminds in the Cobra Legions. Nothing pleases him more than cracking some heads, especially if he thinks they’ve broken some sort of law.

History

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:

Law and Order are The code names used by Military Police officer Corporal Christopher Lavigne and his canine partner. Law grew up in Houston, where he became a cop and walked a beat in the city's Fifth Ward for two years. Finding his job unfulfilling, he enlisted for the military police, and brought his German Shepherd, Order, with him. Law has a hatred for animals, which he takes out on his charges as a trained dog handler. He is also airborne qualified as part of his military training.

Law and Order usually remain at the Pit, seeing to the base's security.

MUX History:

Law and Order are Reserve members of the team. In 2013 they were called back into active service to suppliment Pit security.
