A certain redhead, who left against Doctor's advice yesterday, has returned to the Pit, and has decided to come face the music. She peeks into Medical, and looks around. Well, she doesn't see Lifeline (Not that she looked very hard), so everything must be fine. She'll talk to him later.

He may not be wearing the red suit, but Lifeline is indeed here -- he's just seated at his desk quietly. "Come on in! Let me check the head." He absolutely heard her come in, it seems.

Shana smiles at Edwin, "You been taking observational training from Jinx? I swear, I used to be able to poke my head into a room, and not get caught." She does, indeed step in, and move over to Lifeline. She stands before him, her posture is less tense than it has been in weeks.

"It's the hair, if you want to know," Dr. Steen laughs. "The hair is...I guess you could say it's like a beacon, saying, 'Look! Over here! I'm trying to sneak,'" he says, getting up and coming over to a much better-spirited Scarlett. He's relieved to see she's looking so well, and he chalks it up to her scoring a big intel win over the PMC killers. It's the best lead they've had in a while. "Have you had any pain, headache, migraine, auras, blurred vision since last night?" he asks.

Shana shakes her head at the question, and than pulls a strand of her hair around to look at, "Well, I guess you are saying I should dye my hair, if I want to be as sneaky as a ninja..." She shakes her head, "Or maybe I'll just start wearing a hood." She shakes her head, and smiles, "Actually, I don't need to sneak around too often, and when I really need it, even the hair doesn't give me away." She shrugs, slightly, "Didn't cause me any trouble last night, anyways."

Dr. Steen takes a little pen-light out of his coat pocket, and shines it in Scarlett's eyes briefly. "Alright, good. Great job, by the way. This bit of intel could crack this case wide open." He drops the pen-light back into his pocket.

"I hope it does... but even if it only pushes us in the right direction, It was worth it." Her eyes react normally to the light that is shone in them. She tilts her head, and asks, "So, what's the verdict, Is my head hollow?"

"You are good to go," Dr. Steen says with a smile. "I didn't see anything concerning on the scan, either, but of course, if you get any of those symptoms I mentioned before? Come on back."

Shana nods, and than asks softly, "Are you doing Okay? The other night was... the worst I've seen you in some time." She pauses, and than finally says, "If you need a shoulder, I owe you at least a couple."

After thinking about it for a moment, Dr. Steen smiles slightly. "I'm good. That...had to come out, it was in there for a while. I think I'm good now," he admits. "Seeing Meggan hurt just broke the floodgates." He gives a thumbs-up.

Shana nods, very slightly, "The offer still stands. Sometimes, talking about things is a better remedy than V-8..." She pauses, than shrugs. Ed looks like he's actually thinking it over. Maybe he's got something on his mind after all. "Okay. You got me there," he admits, smiling slightly. "I'll keep it in mind. I need to go take care of something down on 4, I'll be back in a while."

Shana nods, and she is rather glad that Edwin did not give her a look that might indicate she knows why he drinks V-8. She says softly, "Enjoy yourself. You need to take a break as much as I do."

"I don't take breaks, you know that," Edwin insists. But he is heading to the mess hall to eat, so maybe he takes *some* advice to heart. He heads out with a secretive smile. For now, his secrets are staying with him.
