The T-950[1] is an advanced variation of the T-900 Terminator produced by Skynet. The T-950 is an alleged "bridge" from the T-900 to the T-X as it is an Infiltrator with living tissue over a hyperalloy-armored endoskeleton like a T-900 while possessing reconfigurable arms, housing various weapons as a T-X does.
Specification
The T-950 Terminator is composed of a hyperalloy endoskeleton covered by living tissue and like all other Terminator models it is superhumanly strong and durable. A T-950 is strong enough to easily punch through steel and concrete while it can resist extreme amounts of damage that could normally destroy any other less advanced Terminator, like sustained fire from an energy weapon in close range or being run over by a train.
Each unit possesses at least two types of onboard weaponry within its arms. In addition, an arm of a T-950 is able to fold backward to shoot targets behind, which is useful in some situations, such as car chases. In order to avoid damage to the covering of the arms while they reconfigure into weapons the arms of some T-950s are instead covered in mimetic polyalloy, a characteristic that would be later expanded on the more advanced T-X.
Since the mimetic polyalloy only covers its arms for them to switch between weapons easily, the T-950 unit is unable to alter their facial or general physical appearance, as the outer sheath on its face is made of living tissue.
The T-950 features a head-up display similar to the T-850. In addition, it is able to use a heat signature scanning function.
The T-950 Terminator seems to be more resilient to EMP weapons than the T-800 Terminator as one held an EMP grenade to attack another in close quarter combat without any visible damage.
Severe damage to the head can temporarily deactivate a T-950 until it reboots and it may also cause visual glitches, altered mission parameters and drastic energy consumption. Still, the visual glitches and the altered mission parameters can be resolved through a CPU defragmentation.

Notes
- A T-950 is shown to be able to defragment its hard drive.
- A T-950 unit seemed to feature a certain level of emotion, as it asks itself, "Where the HELL am I?" instead of simply "Where am I?", and even playing a pun "Bear you go" (There you go) to a SWAT member.
- In Terminator 3: Fragmented part 1, the bullet hits on a T-950 often seems to have the liquid metal impact effect on the body in some pages. It is possibly merely an error or effect from the author's intention as those damages did not recover as a T-1000 or T-X does.
Behind the Scenes

- In the video game Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, both the reprogrammed T-850[2] and the T-900 Red Terminators[3] sent to raid Home Plate are identified as T-950s, with the three T-900 Terminators being T-950 #5693125, T-950 #55631485 (shared with T-850), and T-950 #5654312 respectively. This is possibly an error as the protagonist Terminator is referred as a T-850 in most of the official materials (such as the novelization) while the red-glowing Terminators are all referred as T-900s in page 14 from the manual for the game.
