Zalario

Zalario ｢ザラリオ, zarario｣ is one of the first original angels created by Veldanava. Formerly part of Feldway's Three Mystic Admirals and once served as their chief subordinate.

Appearance

Zalario takes on the appearance of a beautiful person with long black hair described to carry a glow like "fragmented starlight". A set of God-Grade armor with a black and gold glow covers their torso, concealing most of the pure white clothes worn underneath. The six white wings on their back, pure as their clothes, accentuate already apparent beauty even further and a striking red mark adorns their forehead.

Personality

Zalario is a cool-headed warrior who is hard to provoke, making it near impossible for their foes to get under their skin. They're an extremely reliable comrade to have, showing due diligence against carelessness. Zalario dislikes making enemies, only fighting when forced to.

Zalario was originally extremely cold to their own subordinates, viewing them as no more than cogs to a wheel. They were not above treating their colleagues this way too, dismissing Cornu's death and viewing him as a worthless pawn. Zalario also seems to possess a self-righteous side as they once claimed their words were justice while punishing a rogue subordinate.

After experiencing being stripped of free will and being forced to do the bidding of others, Zalario came to understand the value of freedom and has had a shift in views, even preaching to their subordinates to choose their own paths in life.

Even with how cold and mechanical they are on the surface, Zalario is still capable of forming friendship with others, with Feldway serving as a notable example, being genuinely angry with the old friend for betraying the trust they had placed in them, choosing to respond by severing ties.

Background

Zalario was born at the genesis of creation as one of the Seven Angels of Origin, being was placed under Feldway's command by Veldanava to watch over the mindless beast Ivaragé in the otherworld. Corrupted by the Magicules contained in the otherworld, only amplified by Ivaragé's influence, Zalario and their subordinates were reborn as Phantoms. Most of those years in the otherworld were spent fighting the powerful Insectars, most notably against Zess, the leader of Zelanus' Twelve Insect Generals.

• Zalario had been alive for more than tens of billions of years.
