The undead (アンデット andetto) are reanimated corpses, brought about by a magical means. The can only be destroyed by a weapon that is enchanted with dark magic.
Rikimaru encountered this phenomena when he went to the cemetary to retrieve steel for Ressai whilst gifted with the Muramasa to defend against the walking dead. While searching for Yoto Swords, Ayame fought to evade the walking dead. In the cemetery the Azuma encountered a massive Headless Samurai, who carried his head around with him. How his body became enlarged is unknown.
Background Information and Notes
- The undead are mostly reskinned guards, such as archers, with diferrent walking and stance animations.
- The only unique undead enemy is based on the Manji Cultists from the original game.
