Byakko the White Tiger, (白虎) was one of the Four Lords of the Burning Dawn.
Biography
Despite being a dwarf, Byakko attained the rank of a ninja master and was selected by Lady Kagami as one of her administrators in the Burning Dawn. Byakko kept a white tiger named Chiro as both a pet and a war mount.
After Tatsumaru and Kagami destroyed the Azuma village they fled into a bamboo forest and retreated to the Kansen Caverns to oversee the completion of the Fire Demon. Feeling confident that Rikimaru and Ayame would follow them, she instructed Byakko to deal with them when they arrived. The White Tiger stationed himself outside of the cavern entrance and prepared for battle, and did not have long to wait. The two young Azuma soon arrived, and Byakko instructed Chiro to deal with Ayame, while he himself engaged Rikimaru in combat. He fought well, but Rikimaru nonetheless bested him and struck him down.
Abilities
Byakko was a human and had no magical powers. Though diminutive in size he was a very capable warrior. His favored weapon was a 'Tanmuchi'-a small whip or stick, that he could whip from side to side with lightning speed, inflicting agonizing slashes on his victims. He was also extremely arrogant.
