Samsara

Samsara is a move used by Devil Jin since Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion to replace Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kicks. Angel and True Ogre can also use this move in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Since its introduction, inputting 'u' a second time will transition the user to Fly. In Tekken 8, however, the transition can now only occur on a successful hit.

In Tekken 8 it will trigger a Tornado.

Description

With the help of their wings, the user performs a very high backflip kick that launches the opponent in the air.

Usage

Due to the unique nature of the move's animation, it has varying evasive properties at each step of the attack, allowing it to counter attacks of any height depending on when the opponent's move is thrown.

Trivia

• The move is named after the concept of 'Samsara' found in a number of faiths including Hinduism and Buddhism. Samsara is the concept of cyclical life and death, and tied to the idea of continual suffering on earth. Nirvana is the state of liberation from the cycle of samsara.
