Bitch Slaps is a secret move since Tekken 3. It is accessible to all female characters and Sebastian but excluding Angel. Panda was originally not able to perform this as she was instead able to perform the Headbutt Carnival, but this was changed in Tekken 7. Reina was originally not able to perform the Bitch Slaps in Tekken 8 Season 1, but this was changed in Season 2.
Description
The secret originated in Tekken 3 as the female variant of the Headbutt Carnival, where Anna or Nina will slap their opponent with b+2 while the opponent has the opportunity to retaliate with a slap of their own. The response can either be a slap by itself (2), a pair of slaps (2,2), or (in the case of Nina) three consecutive slaps (2,2,2).
Both also have their respective differences, with Anna being able to use all her different combos from b+2 in Tekken 3.
Tekken 8's Season 2 launch, with the addition of Anna's Bitch Slaps, was considerably bugged, as not only was the entire cast included in her Bitch Slaps[1], but it was possible for the opponent to also copy Anna's 1+2 commands[2], such as her Weeping Slap, Open Sesame, and Rage Art. Conversely, if the opposing character copies Pleasure Time, they are able to fire invisible projectiles at Anna, which can strike and debuff her despite not being visible. Further, Anna is able to copy moves from her opponent's movelist when she blocks one of these attacks.[3]
In Patch 2.02 of Tekken 8, the slap reversal bug was fixed.
Trivia
- Lili and Asuka will perform a short version of the move during their special continue screen in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
