Escape Vehicle

The Escape Vehicle is the primary way of leaving a mission in Teardown. The getaway vehicle varies by which objectives must be retrieved and what map the mission takes place in. These vehicles are modified and specialty Vehicles.

Function

The Player always spawns at the Escape vehicle in the start of a mission, letting you know where to lead your escape route. When viewing the map using TAB, the escape vehicle is marked as a green circle. Once getting inside of the vehicle, the mission will end. However, the escape vehicle can only be entered once all of the main objectives have been aquired. These vehicles cannot be driven like normal cars, instead immediatly driving in a straight line after the Player climbs in. Most common escape vehicles are Van and Cruise Boat. Both being 18/22(82%) out of all availble escape vehicles.

On most missions, the Security Chopper will attempt to fly to the escape vehicle, and the mission will fail if the chopper reaches it. It begins to fly in at around 15 seconds left on the 60s timer.

Variety

There is no single escape vehicle in Teardown. They will change depending on the objective type (car, object) and the map.

Objective variety

In a mission where objects have to be stolen, the escape vehicle will be either a Van or any other car. In missions where vehicles have to be stolen, a red Semi will be the escape vehicle due to the trailer. If the objectives must be destroyed then the escape vehicle will likely be a Van or Cruise Boat.

Map variety

In maps with lots of watery escape routes(such as a riverbank or the ocean) a Cruise Boat will likely be the escape vehicle. In maps with lots of land escapes(such as a road or a dirt path) the escape vehicle will likely be a Van or any other landcraft, such as Pickup.
