The Pod was the sixth feature exclusively published on the Cybus website in May 2006 by the BBC to coincide with the broadcast of Rise of the Cybermen. Written by Joseph Lidster,[1] The Pod was made to look like an in-universe advertisement for the music festival The Pod.
Summary
In an article on the Cybus Industries website, the music festival called The Pod is advertised. The Pod cuts the faff of any "normal" music festival, as on 15 July, the festival will be broadcast directly to Cybus EarPods, avoiding any "tickets, tents or dodgy toilets".
