Sylvia Trench

Sylvia Trench took a trip aboard the Orient Express in Italy in 1962, bringing aboard with her a copy of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. Her journey was briefly interrupted by the unexpected arrival of the Fifteenth Doctor in her cabin, who presented her with a ham and cheese toastie and a pumpkin latté. Confused, she asked just who he was, to which he replied "Wrong room. Never mind." and departed just as quickly as he had arrived.

Trench would later again encounter the Doctor as he was back aboard the Orient Express, attempting to rig rope as part of his plan to toss the star seed into space using his TARDIS. He accidentally stepped on a letter she had brought aboard with her and, looking over it uninvited, told her that she was "better off without him," that the letter's sentence structure was appalling. She protested that she had written the letter and the Doctor immediately backpedaled that it was a great letter and that she should send it to him. She then clarified that the intended recipient was, in fact, female and he grinned, stating that he was happy to help. As he again left, she grinned in response, seeming amused.
