Slite was a field commander in the Sontaran army.
He shot the First Doctor. He led a squadron of Sontarans after the Doctor, Steven Taylor and Sara Kingdom. He later rescued Steven and made him a prisoner of war. He then started to medically examine Steven. He was intrigued when Steven mentioned he had met the Daleks. He later captured the Doctor and Sara and wanted to shoot him as a deserter. The Doctor convinced him that if he destroyed the Human Fleet he would have shame. (AUDIO: The Sontarans)
