Alexander "Sandy" McDonald (5 November 1937-17 March 2016[1]) was a Scottish minister of the Church of Scotland and the father of David Tennant, father-in-law of Georgia Tennant-Moffett and grandfather of Olive and Ty Tennant. He played the uncredited role of the footman in The Unicorn and the Wasp. He was interviewed on the Doctor Who Confidential episode Nemesis, where h confessed he was happy he didn't have to learn lines.
