The Quasi-War was a war between France and the United States of America over trading issues. It ended in 1801. The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones once materialised onboard an American schooner in the Caribbean Sea during this time and were briefly mistaken for French spies by its crew. (COMIC: Second Wave)
