Prydos was a city on Gallifrey that was home to the Prydonian Academy. It sat on an artificial hill above Riff City. Its shady streets were paved in mosaics which illustrated the city's history. Prydos was separated from Riff City by the tall basalt Prydonian Wall. (PROSE: Gallifrey: A Rough Guide)
Behind the scenes
- Prydos was a main setting of Dave Martin's Find Your Fate novel The Garden of Evil, where it was described as one of several academic cities, including Arcalia and Patrexi. It was named for the Prydonian Chapter, which first appeared in TV: The Deadly Assassin.
