In the real world, Farage was the leader of UKIP for most of 2016, and as such was a key public figure for support for Britain leaving the European Union (Brexit) in that year's referendum. The comic Remembrance, released in January 2017, depicted Britzit-247, a planet that parodied aspects of Brexit, mostly with individuals who all resembled Nigel Farage and only said the word "Britzit".
On 3 October 2023, Farage posted a photo on Twitter of himself posing with a Silver Dalek.[1]
