John Herschel was an inventor.
He and Charles Babbage met at the University of Cambridge. They formed the Analytical Society to foster the interest of science. In an alternate timeline created by the Oracle, the two men were killed by William Kempton in 1819 France. (PROSE: The Domino Effect)
