Joan Sims (9 May 1930-27 June 2001[1]) played Katryca in the Doctor Who television story The Mysterious Planet.
She had previously been considered for Madge Cranleigh in Black Orchid and Tanha in Snakedance.
Career
Outside of Doctor Who, she is known for her roles in the Carry On films, alongside Bernard Bresslaw, and Peter Butterworth.
