Calidora was an ancient Athenian.
She found a belief engine which looked like a golden egg. It told her to bury it, which she did. Some of the covering came off, and she collected it. She added it to a statue of Athena that her blacksmith father was making. There was some leftover, which was made into a talisman.
Later, when the Greek gods created by the engine became angry, she took her life with hemlock, hoping her death would appease the gods. (COMIC: The Chains of Olympus)
