Behind the scenes
- Big Ron was a character on EastEnders. He appeared in Dimensions in Time, a crossover special with Doctor Who.
- Two versions of the programme were recorded, the other with Mandy Salter. Before part two aired, polls were set up for the audience to decide who would win, the votes could be put in by calling certain numbers. In the end, Mandy won, with 53% of the calls in her favour. The version of part two featuring Big Ron was thus never broadcast.
- He was later mentioned in the 2020 animated reconstruction of The Faceless Ones.
