Ammanford was a town in South Wales.
The nearest city was Swansea to the south. Nearby towns included Neath to the south-east, Gorseinon to the south and Llanelli to the south-west. Local small towns and villages included Llandybie to the north, Glanaman to the north-east, Pontarddulais to the south and Cross Hands to the west. To the north-east of the town was a national park. Ammanford was located on the A483 between junction 49 of the M4 southbound and Llandybie north-bound.
