The Fifteenth Doctor lived at the Sandringham Hotel from 1 January until Christmas Eve having been stranded on Earth on Christmas day of the previous year. During this year the Doctor remained in the hotel as an employee, working alongside Anita Benn. The Doctor and Anita formed a close friendship. (TV: Joy to the World)
2025 was a year that the Fourth Doctor and Leela accidentally visited on 30 January, actually heading for 2015. By this time, holographic Internet access was readily available by fingerprint access, and everyone on Earth carried portable televisions with them. All theatres had been closed by this point to save energy. (AUDIO: Energy of the Daleks)
31 January was the date set for a huge GlobeSphere-funded energy transfer from the company's moonbase, a culmination of work started in 2021. Unknown to everyone, the Daleks intended to boost the energy to 100 times the amount necessary, creating a bubble around the planet that could counteract gravity. It would then cause the Moon to go off course, Earth's axis to shift wildly and many natural disasters and severe climate changes. Earth would be uninhabitable, and humanity would be wiped out.
The day before, Jack Coulson led an energy protest in Trafalgar Square against GlobeSphere. The Fourth Doctor and Leela attended the protest, and defeated the Daleks by redirecting the energy transfer to their ship as they fled. (AUDIO: Energy of the Daleks)
On Friday 23 May 2025 Belinda Chandra was working in A&E while the Fifteenth Doctor was looking for her, just missing her as she headed home, the Doctor then tried to scan the hospital computer with his screwdriver before accidentally turning of the hospital's power in the process and apologising.
When Belinda got home she looked for food in the fridge but only being able to find some milk, Belinda proceeded to down the milk before going to bed and being woken up later that night by a bright light and loud noise, she went to investigate before two robots blasted their way through the door asking for her and trashing the place, when they realised she was the one they were looking for they asked her to come with them to which she refused and doing so they killed a Cat as a threat to which distressed her, she then proceeded to leave with the robots while telling her next door neighbour to tell the owner of the Cat that it had gone to live on a farm and tell the police that she had been kidnapped by robots, the robots then used a transmat to transport them inside the ship before departing. The Doctor followed close behind just missing them shouting Belinda's name, while the next door neighbour hinds from him and saying to a audience "You ain't seen me", as the Doctor continues to shout Belinda's name. Borozhev published a manifesto calling for a return to pure Marxism and a revolt against remaining pro-Soviet sentiment, founding the influential movement of neo-communism, which would persist into the 22nd century. Alternate timelines
In 2025, the Seventh Doctor visited a timeline in which there had been no innovation or invention for decades and the Benanki had claimed Earth as part of their empire. He then travelled to 1992 to prevent this timeline from coming to pass. (PROSE: Testament)
In an alternate timeline, Ruby Sunday met with Kate Stewart to seek her help in resolving the threat of the the old woman that perpetually stalked Ruby from 73 yards away at an outdoor tea shop. After telling Kate about Carla Sunday's injunction against her and the Fifteenth Doctor's disappearance and the abandonment of the TARDIS, Kate revealed that UNIT personnel had arrived to apprehend the woman. However, the curse on her spread to Kate and UNIT when they move to arrest her, causing them to abandon Ruby as well.
