^1 The vote resulted in a tie. Per Survivor South Africa rules, a revote was held where the castaways involved in the tie would not vote and the remaining castaways could only vote for those involved in the tie.
^2 A Hidden Immunity Idol was played, and all votes cast against the user were negated.
^3 This castaway used an Extra Vote advantage, allowing them to vote twice at Tribal Council.
^4 Annalize and Tom did not vote as they could only vote for each other. By virtue of winning the Final Immunity Challenge, only Jeanne voted.

  • Araw is the first pink tribe in Survivor South Africa.
  • Araw's name completes the "Three Stars and a Sun" (the symbols in the Philippine flag) theme of the tribe names, as the three stars represent the country's major island groups.
  • PK Phetoe is the only Araw member to have never been a part of the Luzon tribe.
