Woofster

Woofster (also known as Puppy) is the fifth main character of Super Why, when Whyatt and the Beanstalk family adopt them.

They are currently the fifth member of Super Readers and they use dictionary power to aid the others when they do not know a certain word.

Personality

Not much information has been given about Puppy, but just like any other puppy they are very playful, happy, and perky. They love to play with Whyatt and loves them very deeply, especially when they can go outside to play!

Puppy seems to be empathetic also, when someone feels sad then they tend to feel sad too.

Appearance

Woofster is a golden retriever with light brown spots randomly placed around their body. Their nose is black while their eyes are dark blue. They have thin brown eyebrows and wears a dark blue collar with a gold piece shaped like an open book attached to it.

Woof

With "Dictionary Power" Woofster will use their dictionary to look up words the Super Readers may not understand in order to make the situation for them easier to understand.

In his transformed state, Woofster can talk. They do not have their own Why Flyer, so they ride in Super Why's behind him while wearing a helmet as well.

In Whyatt’s story, The Super Readers discover that Puppy is actually Woofster from the book Woofster Finds A Home and they become a member of the team at the end of the episode.

Woofster essentially looks the same but with a royal/midnight blue cape with a small orange dictionary hanging from the center. When used, the dictionary grows in size so that Woofster can show the audience.

In "The Missing Princess of Pet City", they are able to change into their storybook incarnation that Super Why has created. They look identical to their normal transformed state, except they wears red gloves and can walk bipedal.

Problems Woofster Encountered

  • The Great Robot Race: Puppy and Whyatt want to win a race but Puppy keeps dropping the bowl of porridge off of their back.
  • The Pupp-athon: Woofster is distracted by a clothes box when they are supposed to do a hula hoop trick at the Storybrook Village Talent Show.
