The Golden Seal is a key item in Suikoden IV.
Description
The Golden Seal is a royal heirloom in the Kingdom of Obel used to authenticate the serving monarch of that nation. It usually remains in possession of the reigning monarch of the time but can be passed on to someone else for ceremonial transfer of political power such as the situation when Lino En Kuldes gave the Golden Seal to Lazlo, in order to signify Lazlo's leadership of the Island Liberation Navy, even over Lino himself.
Carried by Lazlo, prior to its return to Lino En Kuldes before the restoration of the Kingdom of Obel after the island's liberation from the Kooluk Imperial Navy, the Golden Seal was stolen on Nay Island by the Nay-Kobold thieves, Nalkul and Champo. Luckily, the seal was quickly recovered.
