StuGo

StuGo is an upcoming animated comedy-adventure series created by Ryan Gillis for Disney Channel.[2] It is set to air on Disney Channel.

Premise

From creator and executive producer Ryan Gillis, the series follows six middle schoolers who are tricked into attending a fake academic summer camp by a mad scientist. Now they’re stuck for three months on a wild tropical island with mind-reading manatees, giant fighting fungi and fashion-forward mutants. Less academia than they’d hoped for, but a lot more adventure.

  • The plot is similar to another Disney show Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, which aired from 2004-2006 and followed the lives of the titular characters – respectively, a pampered-yet-spunky dog and a hyperactive rabbit – who get stuck in the Amazon Rainforest together.
  • The term StuGo is short for student government (also known as a student council).
