“Secret Shuttle Codes”: Subcommander Khiana reports to Ruul that she has failed to bribe D'Tan, and suggests that he be replaced with someone "more accommodating" to the Tal Shiar's agenda. Ruul turns down her suggestion in favor of enlisting aid from the Hirogen.
“Mountain Base”: Ruul threatens the player during their advance into the base, but is eventually captured.

Dialogue in the mission implies that Ruul succeeded Hakeev as leader of the Tal Shiar following his death.
