The Mirish System is a system located in the Cardassia Sector of the Alpha Quadrant.
System Description
The Cardassian Mining Union has been plundering the rich veins of duridium and cortenide on Mirish Prime for more than 200 years. While the veins close to the surface are depleted, surveys have found richer strikes kilometers underground.
The Federation Miners Union has offered to provide technology for deep mining, but disputes about ownership of the mines and divisions of payloads have stalled the negotiations.
Missions Involved
- “Mirish System Patrol”: The player is ordered to defend automated mining shuttles from True Way cells affiliated with the Cardassian Mining Union.
