The Trent class was a class of Federation light destroyers in operation during the early 23rd century. A few vessels were brought out of mothballs in the late 2280s after the Organians were apparently no longer interested in interstellar affairs.

Background (Delta Dynamics)
Primary inspiration for the Delta Dynamics' version of the Trent class and its variants came from Timo Saloniemi's Hobbyist's Guide to the UFP Starfleet, while the ship's design origin lies with Star Fleet Battles and FASA's Denial of Destiny.
