Weasels are mammals from Planet Earth and Mobius. They have long, slender bodies and small legs. Weasels are often characterised in fiction as being crafty and untrustworthy.
The only weasels to exist in the world of Sonic the Comic come from the Diamond Fjord Zone. The weasel homeland was conquered by the Coal Creek Zone regime and its inhabitants were forced to work for the stags in the mines. The most famous weasel is Nack the Weasel, a villain who escaped to the Special Zone. Nack initially joined the Chaotix Crew but betrayed them to the Brotherhood of Metallix. After this, he would take up any job as long as it was high-paying, even dangerous tasks that involved him kidnapping Super Sonic. He is currently the Zone Leader of Coal Creek, under the pretense that he wishes to free his weasel kin from slavery.
