Toxo Cubes are dehydrated blocks that were produced in the Chemical Plant Zone by kidnapped "slaves". An acidic chemical is stored in large vats and fed into a special machine that removes the moisture from the substance and forms it into dry cubes. Just one of these could pollute an entire lake when dropped in water and several dozen had been created.
History
In 1997, several citizens of Mobius were kidnapped and forced to work in a Chemical Plant under armed guard by robot Troopers. The slaves were made to work in harsh conditions with no breaks, constantly trying to churn out Toxo Cubes. The Freedom Fighters heard of this and broke into the factory, watching development from a stack of completed cubes. Upon sighting Vermin the Cybernik, Shortfuse the Cybernik forgot the plan and seeked revenge against his rival. Those carrying Toxo Cubes immediately threw them to the ground and ran for safety. Production of the toxic blocks ceased when Shortfuse used Vermin to destroy the machine.
