Thoth was a villain in ancient Egyptian times that hailed from another planet. Masquerading as a deity alongside Set and Hathor, Thoth ruled over the human population of Planet Earth and forced them to build a pyramid. Some time into their reign, Thoth admitted doubts over Set's forceful way of ruling and confessed that they should be preaching wisdom, not violence. Set believed Thoth to be weak and it was his meekness that resulted in their exile from their home planet.
Upon Set's defeat to Sonic the Hedgehog and their outing as mortals, Thoth suggested they leave Earth, but Set blasted him with his Staff of Power.
