The Mobe is a newspaper issued on Mobius. Unlike many of the planet's other newspapers, The Mobe is a tabloid publication and focuses on sensationalist stories about celebrities.
The editors appear to have a disliking for Sonic the Hedgehog; its first appearance led with the headline "Sonic the Hedgehog Ate My Hamster!". The Mobe was later seen in the possession of Captain Plunder, still reporting on Sonic's alleged felonies, years after his initial "crimes". This particular headline continued with an account from Police Chief Bodger, revealing how he badly failed to catch the fugitive, yet again.
