The Swampland Zone is a Zone on Mobius characterised by its lush jungle setting and a large volume of swamps. It is famous for being the place where Sonic the Hedgehog met Miles "Tails" Prower, pulling the fox from out of a bog and saving his life. Sonic had only arrived there after transforming into Super Sonic for the first time. The swamps do actually look more like dark water, but have the properties of little chance of escape once you've fallen into one.
An area very like the Swampland Zone was seen in Sonic's World story Future Shock, but wasn't named to be the same place.
